THE DROP

Let us tell you about
The Dead Thirties

We remember what it felt like to grow up offline.
To print out MapQuest directions.
To wait for our song to hit the radio with a blank tape ready.
To burn CDs for our crushes, not just send them a Spotify link.

We grew up in bedrooms lit by lava lamps and the hum of a dial-up modem.
We learned design from MySpace, built our taste on message boards,
and stayed up way too late downloading songs off LimeWire praying that it would actually be the song we wanted when it was done.

Then everything changed.
The internet got faster. Our lives got busier.
Culture forgot about us.
Fashion started speaking to people younger than us—
like we’d already said everything we had to say.

We don’t want to look like our parents.
We don’t want to dress like we’re teens.
We want clothes with memory. With edge. With actual soul.
That's The Dead Thirties.
